Although historic foodways is (are?) not specifically "my thing," it's encouraging to know that an individual with D.P.'s level of experience and expertise in this field will be tackling some of the "right stuff" challenges that raise their heads with regularity in this [historic culinary] forum. I'm not sure how she'll cope with the great range of time/place/ethnicity variations frequently cited in foodways discussions...but, if anyone can do it, she's a likely candidate.
